Hellmann Worldwide expands transit time offerings to Romania, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia

The logistics service provider Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is expanding its transit time offer: In addition to regular delivery time, shipments will also be transported from Germany with dedicated services to Romania, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia from 1 April 2012. Thereby the company heralds the next stage of its service extension started in October 2010.

As possible to the United Kingdom, Poland, Benelux, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, from April Hellmann provides customers a "Priority" – and "fixed date" service to Romania, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia that can be combined in selected zip code areas with a 10-clock and 12 clock service. The "Priority" service guarantees binding delivery on the first possible delivery day within the regular transit time. The "fixed date" offer gives customers the choice of the day of delivery and to the choice of delivery time according to the 10 or 12 clock-clock service.

The extension of the transit time offered to more and more European countries is a stated goal of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. "The experience since October 2010 have shown us that we can provide our customers real added value with timely service conceptsm which has to be strengthened. We respond to the request of the shipping industry for higher flexibility and predictability", says Karl Engelhard, general agent of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
