Helmut Steiner moves to the top of TNT Innight group
Europe’s leading overnight express provider TNT Innight has appointed Helmut Steiner as the new chairman of the management board
Helmut Steiner (59) assumes the function of the chairman of the management board at the TNT Innight group, effective April 1. As successor of Pieter de Wit the Austrian assumes charge of the national branches in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Slovakia and in the Czech Republic. He has more than 30 years of experience in the segment of transport logistics and will manage the enterprise together with Thomas Steverding, who is holding the function of the manager for sales, marketing and customer service since March 2012.
The transport provider TNT Innight specialises in the delivery of goods and spare parts in Central, Eastern and Northwestern Europe until the next day, before the start of the work. The recipients are companies from the agricultural, automotive, engineering and construction, high tech, life science and materials handling industries. Deliveries usually do not require the presence of the recipients, and are carried out on the basis of a network with 4,000 employees at 61 own locations. TNT Innight is a company of TNT Express N.V., an enterprise listed at the NYSE Euronext Amsterdam.
