hofmann & neffe plans expansion of their warehousing capacity
Europe-wide all-in solutions for transport and logistics by hofmann & neffe are met with approval by shippers:
As the existing warehousing offering 3.500 m2 of roofed space in St. Florian near Linz is approaching its capacity limits, hofmann & neffe gmbH is considering an expansion of their commitment in warehousing logistics. The managing partner, KommR Franz Danninger, MBA, is thinking of a 3.000 m2 logistics warehouse. “We will probably start realising this project in 2012”, the freight forwarder says in an interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. hofmann & neffe offers Europe-wide all-in solutions for transport and logistics. The range goes from the removal of goods from the production facilities or central warehouse locations by trucks via interim storage operations including labelling and picking services to national and international distribution of part- and full loads.
Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg are serviced by their own fleet comprising 260 units “with which we handle about 80 per cent of the total transport volume”, as Franz Danninger says. Transports to other countries and “cross trades” are carried out by reliable subcontractors.
