SDV manages „Spares Warehouse Management“ for Airbus
Aircraft manufacturer Airbus nominates SDV as their partner for the operation of spare parts logistics centres in four locations:
The aircraft manufacturer Airbus has reorganised its global spare parts logistics. They signed a contract with the French logistics service provider SDV on the outsourcing of four locations. The cooperation applies to the spare parts logistics hubs in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Dubai and Singapore. In these locations SDV is responsible for the “Spares Warehouse Management”. The company uses the facilities that have so far been operated by Airbus as well as their own sites.
SDV is a globally active provider of transport- and logistics services with headquarters in France. The company is part of the logistics division of the Bolloré Group whose 28.000 employees in 90 countries forwarded 420.000 tons of airfreight and 580.000 TEU seafreight last year.
