Gebrüder Weiss opens its 10th location in Switzerland
Air & Sea station of Gebrüder Weiss in Bern to start in early May; Cyrill Gaechter becomes the new Head of Air & Sea Switzerland
The transport and logistics enterprise Gebrüder Weiss is adding a branch to its network in Switzerland. At the beginning of May 2013, the company is opening a new Air & Sea location in the capital Bern. The new branch – the tenth in Switzerland – will be headed by Fiorella Orsetti and is going to offer the full service portfolio of Gebrüder Weiss CH: apart from air and sea freight, this includes also land transport as well as individual logistics solutions.
Moreover the company announces that Cyrill Gaechter has been appointed as the new Country Manager of Gebrüder Weiss Air & Sea Switzerland. The experienced logistics expert (lately working for 18 years with Panalpina) is responsible for GW’s country-wide air and sea freight business since the beginning of April 2013. The experienced 43-year-old is based at the airport Zurich terminal and will report directly to Harald Kostial, Gebrüder Weiss Air & Sea Regional Director West.
