IBS launches new iCargo JTO solution at Tokyo’s Haneda airport

Tokyo International Air Cargo Terminal (TIACT) has started using IBS‘ iCargo JTO (Japan Terminal Operations) solution to manage its complete ground handling operations at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.

The new iCargo JTO product has been specially designed and developed to meet the unique business and Customs requirements of the air cargo market in Japan.

The bilingual (English and Japanese) iCargo JTO connects directly to NACCS (Nippon Automated Cargo Clearance System), making IBS only the non-Japanese company to have the capability and certification for interfacing with NACCS.

Also of significance are the successful development and implementation of an Access Control & Truck Guidance System and integration with a host of devices using RF, at TIACT’s cargo handling facility.

TIACT is responsible for setting up of the cargo handling facility at the Haneda airport, and for operations thereafter. With this multi-million dollar investment, IBS now has unrivalled value proposition for end-to-end automation of the air cargo business of airlines and airports in Japan.

iCargo is an integrated solution suite designed to handle the cargo management requirements of full freighter carriers, passenger & cargo combination carriers, ground handling agents and airports in the areas of cargo sales & reservations, CTO, Cargo Revenue Accounting and ULD Management, all in a single seamless solution.

iCargo is fully compliant with IATA initiatives such as Cargo 2000 and e-Freight, and is available both in licensed and SaaS (Software as a Service) modes.
