“James Bond” is relaxing in Containex’ room systems

Containex – the specialist for containers and mobile space solutions – services the shooting of the new James Bond movie „Spectre“

Lower Austria is not on the director’s plan as a scenery for the new James Bond movie „Spectre“, featuring the screen-stars Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz and Monica Bellucci in the lead roles. But a company from Lower Austria contributes to the success of the next 007 spy thriller:

For the entire period of the film shooting in Austria – in Altaussee, Sölden and Obertilliach, Containex, the company from Wiener Neudorf, is providing around 70 of its container systems. These are used to accommodate offices, storage and sanitation, reports the Lower Austrian news service Niederösterreichischer Wirtschaftspressedienst.

Containex has experience with events of this dimension. The Wiener Neudorf-based company has been a partner of major sports events, supporting the organisers. For example, at the last football championship „Euro 2012“ in Poland and Ukraine, the company had supplied some 600 special containers, which were placed around the stadiums.

Containex is a subsidiary of the LKW-Walter forwarding group. About 50,000 containers for crew, office, storage, packaging, deep sea and sanitary cabins are manufactured every year at their own production sites. In the 2013/2014 financial year, ending in March 2014, Containex and its 255 employees generated turnover of EUR 197 million.
