Journalism prize for Liza

Liza Helps, Logistics Manager’s contributing editor, property, has won the Features Journalist of the Year award in the Seahorse Club Journalist Awards 2014.

She won the award for her articles looking at the logistics of the British Army’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. Liza travelled to Camp Bastion in Helmand Province where she experienced life on the front line with the Royal Logistics Corps.

Features Journalist of the Year is sponsored by APM Terminals.

Liza was also runner-up in the Supply Chain Journalist of the Year category of the Awards, which is sponsored by Geodis Wilson.
