Karl Nutzinger leaves the Schenker AG executive board

Change in leadership in the Schenker AG road transport division: Decision regarding the replacement for Karl Nutzinger will soon be made

Karl Nutzinger (56), to date a board member for Schenker AG and responsible for the road transport division, will dedicate himself to tasks outside the company in future. The Schenker AG and the manager have come to this decision in mutual agreement. The Schenker AG board will decide on the replacement shortly.

Following professional commitments in Israel and Southeastern Asia, Nutzinger started his career with Schenker in 1993 as business manager of the formerly called Schenker Eurocargo (Germany) AG in Berlin. In 2000 he was appointed regional director Europe Central for the Schenker AG with headquarters in Essen. After executive tasks outside of the company, Karl Nutzinger was appointed member of the Schenker AG board on 1 November 2008, in which he was responsible for the road traffic division.

Under his management, this division proved itself in a difficult environment and became market leader in European road traffic. Several structural changes and strategic initiatives  initiated by Nutzinger such as the “Governance@Land” programme were responsible for the success.
