Kerry Logistics acquires two UK companies

Kerry Logistics continues its shopping spree with the acquisition of two freight forwarding companies in the UK: Manchester-based Bergen Freight Forwarding and Yorkshire-based Regency Forwarding.

Bergen specialises in sea freight imports from India and the Far East, which will help to strengthen Kerry Logistics‘ freight forwarding capabilities in the UK and Europe.

Regency offers airfreight, sea freight and international trailer movements for both imports and exports, and focuses on imports from the US and Asia and exports to international destinations. Locally, the company will enable Kerry Logistics to extend its coverage across the industrial heartland of Yorkshire and the North East of England.

Earlier this month, Kerry acquired Shanghai Wisdom Group and Shanghai Huicheng Logistics, both based in China.
