KPN renews agreement with CEVA for third time

CEVA Logistics has extended its agreement with Netherlands telecoms operator, KPN, for another three years.

Since 2003, CEVA has provided inbound services, warehousing and order processing, distribution services and returns processing to KPN.

These processes are supported by a Warehouse Management System (WMS) that is fully integrated with a host of KPN systems.

These core services are complemented with special air and ocean services, full secure deliveries and other extended services that are tailored to KPN’s specific requirements.

Under the new agreement, KPN and CEVA will create an infrastructure in which the latest technology for sustainability will be incorporated. This will result in significant improvements in energy efficiency and will include sustainable power generation. This should bring the operation closer to the ultimate goal of CO2 neutrality.

Baptiest Coopmans, executive board member of KPN, pointed out that, in the very competitive telecoms market, customer service and flexible fulfilment solutions are crucial, and KPN and CEVA have set themselves ambitious targets for further optimisation of operations.
