New special unit of Kuehne + Nagel Austria: KN Expo & Event Logistics accompanies customers to all countries in the world

Kuehne + Nagel Austria has developed to market readiness a new service offer: KN Expo & Event Logistics. The service range covers fair and event logistics and all related logistic services. The new business unit is managed from the Kuehne + Nagel site in Graz for all over Austria. “Creating this new unit we enhance our product portfolio and are able to better serve our customers in the segment of fair and event logistics“, says Martin Kroissenbrunner, head of the business unit KN Expo & Event Logistics.

Since the start of this year Kuehne + Nagel offers a wide range of fair and event logistics services in Austria. The new special unit KN Expo & Event Logistics is accomodated in the Kuehne + Nagel branch in Werndorf near Graz and is in charge of coordinating transportations for Austrian customers who are present on fairs worldwide, and carry out event operations.

Logistics for fairs is often challenging for exhibitors, as many regulations, special conditions and local rules have to be taken into account.

Therefore Kuehne + Nagel offers its customers services covering the entire chain of fairs planning, customs clearance, transport on all modes, stand care, return or onwards transport to the next fair, as well as storage and interim storage of stand equipment. “Individual care of clients is very important for us. Event logistics has marked challenges, because in many cases appropriate infrastructure is not available on site.
