Acquisition of Agrokamion Kft. (Komaron/Hungary) strengthens the European animal feed network of Nijhof-Wassink
Nijhof-Wassink is constantly in motion to strengthen its European animal feed network. As a part of this strategy, the company with headquarters in Rijssen (The Netherlands) has taken over Agrokamion Kft. in Komaron, Hungary. This acquisition includes all trucks, trailers and drivers as well as repair and maintenance activities in Babolna. The owners of Agrokamion Kft. will also join Nijhof-Wassink Kft. organization.
“As a result of this expansion, our Hungarian branch will develop to a total number of 40 trucks and 65 employees, whereby 20 trucks will be involved in animal feed distribution and remaining trucks in the international (petro) chemical transports”, the company announces.
Nijhof-Wassink is specialized in bulk transport by road, rail and water since 1967. Therefore the company has branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Hungary. Besides bulk transport they are specialized in a number of logistics services like, storage and cleaning. Their own fleet contains all kinds of combinations, from calibrated unloading and 4C (Computer Controlled Compartiment Choice) to sideloaders and vacuum trailers.
