Raben Logistics boosts its market appearance in Ukraine
New distribution centre of Raben Group in Dnipropetrowsk brings contract logistics to eastern Ukraine:
Opening a new terminal in Dnipropetrowsk, the Raben Group expands its commitment in contract logistics and in the segment of “just-in-time“-delivery to eastern Ukraine. The facility is a distribution centre of the A“-class, offering 1,750 m² throughput space, a 4,750 m² warehouse and 13 loading gates.
„As a customer-oriented enterprise, we wondered what would be important to clients, before building the new facility. We found out that there is an enormous demand in the region of Dnipropetrowsk for contract logistic services and high-level services“, explains Boris Khruslov, Managing Director Raben Ukraine. The manager wants to offer customers optimised transports to eastern and southern Ukraine. Delivery times will be cut by one day, as he states.
Based on about 53.000 m² warehousing area Raben Ukraine offers comprehensive logistics solutions for FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), household appliances, retail trade and fresh goods.
The Raben Group has almost 800,000 m² of warehousing area located in ten countries of Europe (the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary), and has currently more than 8,000 employees. On 1 September 2011 the group has finalised the acquisition of the German road network and operations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia from Wincanton.
