Kuehne + Nagel: High distinction for IT centre in Estonia
Kuehne + Nagel Estonia is Foreign Investor of the Year in the Baltic country and obtains Entrepreneurship Award 2013
Kuehne + Nagel Estonia was appointed Foreign Investor of the Year at the annual gala Enterprise Estonia in Tallinn. The chamber of commerce and industry, the employers‘ association and the institute for economic research have selected the best companies in the country and honoured them with prestigious awards in various categories and subcategories.
Juhan Parts, Minister for economic affairs and member of the jury of the Enterprise Award said: „Kuehne + Nagel is a good example of the so-called new and smart economy. Estonia is an excellent location for companies like these, and they definitely deserve the prize. “
Hirvoja Martin, Member of the management board of Enterprise Estonia and in charge of the establishment of foreign investors added, „Kuehne + Nagel shows that foreign companies have discovered Estonia as a strong and reliable partner of the IT industry. We want to convince more and more companies to set up their development centers here and to create smart jobs with high added value.”
