Kuehne + Nagel has launched new temperature-controlled reefer LCL services in Japan, tailored to the specific requirements of the wines & spirits industry. The door-to-door services are operated under the company’s in-house NVOCC Blue Anchor Line, and managed by Kuehne + Nagel’s dedicated team for the drinks logistics sector. The services feature fixed-day, bi-monthly sailings from Europe to Japan. Through convenient, cost-effective consolidation service, regular wine shipments collected from the world’s top three wine-producing countries in Europe (France, Italy and Spain) can be transported in a temperature-controlled environment direct to the consignee’s door in Japan. Kuehne + Nagel’s specialised teams in origin and destination countries ensure the efficient management of wine transportation, including customs brokerage and local deliveries.
