Kuehne + Nagel provides co-packing services for Unilever in Romania
| Unilever Supply Chain Company AG (USCC), the European supply chain organisation of consumer goods major Unilever, has expanded its cooperation with Kuehne + Nagel in Romania and assigned its co-packing activities to the logistics provider. Since 2010, Kuehne + Nagel has been managing warehousing operations for Unilever’s home and personal care (HPC) product range in South Eastern Europe in a newly commissioned facility in Ploiesti. "Kuehne + Nagel has succeeded in a relatively short time to integrate its co-packing service offered to Unilever South Central Europe (USCE). Co-packing is strategically important because it enables us to customise our portfolio according to the specific requirements of our customers.
