Launch of UPS Worldwide Express Freight Midday service

UPS announces the introduction of UPS Worldwide Express Freight Midday, an extension of the current UPS Worldwide Express Freight service, offering a commit time of 12 p.m. or 2 p.m. from all 71 origin countries to 35 key destination countries that represent over two-thirds of global GDP.

This addition to the UPS Worldwide Express package portfolio provides guaranteed, time-definite delivery for urgent, international palletized shipments over 68 kilogram. Delivery is door-to-door in as few as 1-3 days, with customs brokerage included. UPS Worldwide Express Freight services include many of the same features as UPS Worldwide Express package service, allowing customers to leverage UPS speed, reliability, and visibility to reach global markets faster, now before end of day.

“We have customers in the industrial, auto, high tech, and healthcare fields that need shipments fast and sometimes end of day just isn’t soon enough,” says John Miltenis, VP International Marketing, UPS. “Our new Midday service is unique in the market and provides our customers with a strong competitive advantage when timing is critical.”

Also new for 2018, UPS Worldwide Express Freight service has expanded to Lebanon, Latvia, and Lithuania and added outbound service to Saudi Arabia.

The UPS air network is one of the world’s largest with customs clearance capabilities that include over 80 years of experience and offices in more than 60 countries. This combination allows for UPS’s fastest palletized scheduled day-definite, door-to-door delivery in 71 origin and 67 destination countries and territories*, including:
