Lenovo honors Panalpina with Logistics Excellence Award

Every year, Lenovo, a USD 50 billion Fortune Global 500 company with 57,000 employees, hosts a global awards ceremony at their supplier conference. This year in Macao, China, their global logistics organization honored Panalpina with the Logistics Excellence Award. This is the second time Panalpina has received the award for providing exceptional service, continuous improvement and implementation processes in air and ocean freight and logistics services.

Lenovo’s data center solutions are creating the capacity and computing power for the connections that are changing business and society. The technology company also manufactures one of the world’s widest portfolios of connected products, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, workstations and AR/VR devices. In the last full-year reporting period, Lenovo generated a record-breaking revenue of USD 51 billion.

“Our relationship with Lenovo goes all the way back to 1996. Today, Lenovo sells four devices each second.  I am proud of every Panalpina colleague around the world who works with Lenovo to help make this possible and to deliver continuous improvement and sustainable service excellence,” says Karl Weyeneth, chief commercial officer for Panalpina.
