Lidl awards big contract to Hörmann
Lidl has awarded door manufacturer Hörmann with a new contract.
The budget supermarket retailer is developing a new 600,000 sq ft regional distribution centre in Avonmouth, where Hörmann will provide 120 loading bays.
Hörmann will begin work on the site this August; the project is due to complete by Spring next year.
A spokesperson from TSL, the main contractor, said: “Hörmann did an amazing job at Lidl Wednesbury. They 100 per cent backed up everything that was promised at the tender stage and were ranked in the top two sub-contractors on site. We truly consider them as a subcontract partner.”
