Lkw Walter’s annual sales grow to just under EUR 2 billion

Lkw Walter Internationale Transportorganisation AG with its headquarters in Wiener Neudorf has generated sales of almost EUR 1.96 billion in the 2016/17 financial year ending at the end of March 2017. This is an increase of EUR 97 million euros or 5.2 percent compared to the previous period. Earnings after taxes grew by 15.2 percent or EUR 13.9 million to EUR 105.6 million. These figures were reported by the news service NÖ Wirtschaftspressedienst, based on the company’s recently published balance sheet.

With more than 1,600 employees, Lkw Walter Internationale Transportorganisation AG organises nearly 1.4 million full truckloads per year on the road and in combined transport throughout Europe, as well as to and from Russia, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. The forwarding company, founded in 1924, is a wholly owned family enterprise, and ranks among the 50 biggest companies in Austria today.
