Logwin stepping up its commitment as a logistics provider for bikes

The logistics service provider Logwin will be an official sponsor and logistics partner for the first time for the Deutschland Tour, which is celebrating its comeback in the cycling calendar this year. The professional road bike tour will take place in several stages with its finish on 26 August in the centre of Stuttgart, Germany. This is where also the amateur race is to take place, with Logwin once again at the start with a team of keen sporting customers and employees.

The involvement with the Deutschland Tour stems from Logwin’s growing commitment as a logistics provider for bicycles. Logwin transports a total of around 400,000 bicycles annually through its national and international specialist network. Services provided by the network cover the collection of bicycles from dispatchers, including securely packaging the bicycles in special transport boxes, and delivery to the recipients.

In addition to servicing private recipients (B2C), the network primarily supplies specialist sellers and wholesalers in Europe. Logwin also has an air and sea freight network with over 35 of its own country-based companies worldwide. These already transport a large number of bicycles or bicycle parts, e.g. from China to Germany.

Logwin also encourages its employees to take part in sporting events. It offers a multitude of health activities as well as regular participation in amateur races. Logwin customers also have the opportunity to join the Logwin Racer Team and spend an eventful day together with Logwin colleagues.
