Lutterworth lighting for CDA

Appliance manufacturer CDA has fully integrated a new energy efficient lighting solution from Lutterworth Ecolighting, in a bid to improve warehouse light levels. CDA manufactures a range of kitchen appliances, selling more than 300,000 products in the UK every year. As part of the deal Lutterworth designed, manufactured, and installed the new system, at CDA’s head office in Langar, Nottinghamshire, from which it stores and distributes its products direct to stockists and customers. The company hopes its new system will result in energy savings in excess of 85 per cent, and an annual CO2 reduction of some 58kg. “The new brighter lighting has made a dramatic improvement to the working environment for our warehouse operatives,” said logistics manager at CDA, Chris Thomas. “The energy and environmental savings are equally impressive, so much so that we have asked Lutterworth to replace the lighting in some of our other on site facilities much sooner than planned.” CDA expects a return on investment in less than three years.
