Manning Impex to deploy Microlistics Enterprise WMS

Food services provider Maning Impex is to deploy Microlistics Enterprise WMS at its Camberley, Surrey, warehouse.

Manning Impex said it will run Microlistics Enterprise WMS because it outgrew its existing paper-based and manually processed WMS.

Mike Cheong, Manning Impex’s chief operating officer, said: “Microlistics WMS being such a robust, agile and technically-advanced platform will allow us to be true innovators through end-to-end digitalisation and automation.

“Apart from the obvious need for a platform that integrated with our Sage X3 ERP, we wanted a vendor who was experienced in food service processes – specifically temperature controlled.”

Microlistics WMS will provide full system-directed task management of warehouse operatives, real-time visibility of customer orders, and comprehensive track and traceability.

Mark Dawson, managing director and founder of Microlistics, added: “Microlistics WMS is utilised in food services companies around the globe, and the selection of Microlistics by Manning Impex will strengthen our position in the UK and European markets.”
