Mega Peterborough shed pre-let secures planning permission

Developer Roxhill has secured planning permission for a 600,000 sq ft plus distribution centre at its 180-acre Peterborough Gateway scheme.

The development has been pre-let to an as unnamed food processor and distributor of sweet and savoury sauces, which will use the distribution centre for national and international distribution.

The 631,820 sq ft facility will be built on a 23.5 acre plot. It will have an eaves height of 19m. It will have a two storey office block and a single storey transport hub with a total of 32 HGV parking bays. Staff will work across three shifts over 24 hours, seven days a week.
