Migolog GmbH ready to launch its container terminal

A facility with 240 TEU warehouse capacity is to be built in St. Jakob im Rosental just next to Globo Handels GmbH

Opening a neutral container terminal in St. Jakob im Rosental Migolog GmbH is creating two new jobs. The start of operation is scheduled for 1 August 2015. The service range includes trucking services to and from the seaports of Koper and Trieste as well as depot services and empty containers supply of the export industry in Carinthia. In the initial stage Globo Handels GmbH will be the main user of the neutral container terminal. The specialist in the development and global marketing of decorative home lighting has become a big player since it was founded in 1998.

The logistics centre with 32,600 pallet spaces in St. Jakob im Rosental operated by the company on its own can play all tricks. Migolog presents itself as a service provider taking over all transportation and logistics tasks of production and trading companies. The designated range of services includes activities in the areas of freight logistics, warehouse logistics, order picking and contract logistics with service concepts for palletised goods, bulk goods, ADR goods, used paper and raw materials. These activities are based on “warehouse and picking areas that are well equipped regarding technical, organizational and personnel issues” emphasises Michal Golebiowski. N° 25/2015 of the ÖVZ transport magazine features a detailed report on Migolog GmbH.
