MSC and ZIM intensify cooperation in the Mediterranean

MSC and ZIM customers now have more options on the connections between Northern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean:

As of mid November the container shipping companies MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and ZIM Integrated Services will offer an extended port range with optimised transit times to their customers. The new service concerns the routes between them Eastern Mediterranean and Northern Europe and is based a new cooperation contract. MSC can use slots on the Asia-Med-Europe-Service operated by ZIM in future. In return the Israeli shipping company can load its container cargo onto the Israel Express Service operated by MSC.

MSC’s Israel Express Service regularly services the port rotation Haifa, Ashdod, Valencia, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Le Havre, Alexandria and Haifa. The scheduled service Asia-MED-Europe by ZIM Integrated Services will complete the following round trip in Asia in the future: Haifa, Ashdod, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Hamburg, Limassol, Haifa and Ashdod.
