Dachser USA opens new branch in Dallas and plans opening of additional locations:

Dachser USA opened a new location in Dallas and thereby allows for the growing import and export business in northern Texas and Oklahoma. The new branch starts with five employees managed by Janis Mulliman. Until mid 2012 the number of staff is to grow to 15 people. With the new location, Dachser expands its service, especially for the growing import and export trade with Asia.

"The sunbelt region comprising northern Texas and Oklahoma is a growing market for air- and seafreight imports", says Frank Günzerodt, president and CEO for Dachser USA. "The new branch consolidates our national and global service range and is the ideal supplement for the existing operating facility in Houston which mainly specialises in project logistics for the oil- and gas industry."

For the coming months, Dachser plans the opening of additional branches in the USA. "The USA are the main trading partner for many countries", says Thomas Reuter, general manager Dachser Air & Sea Logistics. By expanding our network capacities in the USA we are promoting the growth of the global Dachser network.

Dachser Transport of America Inc. (Dachser USA) was founded in New York in 1972 and its headquarter is based in Atlanta, GA. The company employs a total of 150 people in eleven branches (Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinatti, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Phoenix). According to the company all locations offer an all-over service for sea- and airfreight import and export business from and to Europe, Asia and South America.
