MSC joins CMA CGM and CSAV on Asia-Americas loop

CMA CGM Group, MSC and CSAV have announced the reshuffling of their service linking Asia, Mexico, Central America and West Coast of South America.

Operated by CMA CGM and CSAV until then, this service (called ACSA for CMA CGM and ANDEX for CSAV) will now be joined in by MSC.

This service will still be operated on two distinct loops deploying respectively 11 8,500 TEU containerships (one CMA CGM, two CSAV, eight MSC) and ten 6,500 TEU containerships (three CMA CGM, seven CSAV).

With this new configuration, CMA CGM, MSC and CSAV will be able to better adjust their tonnage to the low season of the trade while operating a high-performance fleet ensuring economies of scale.
