Netwerk VSP to discontinue addressed mail
Netwerk VSP, part of PostNL, has decided to discontinue its activities on the addressed mail market in the Netherlands as of December 17, 2011. The company stated: "The current mail market and the economic circumstances offer insufficient perspective to continue these activities profitably in the longer term."
The discontinuation of addressed mail delivery will have no consequences for Netwerk VSP’s activities in the area of door to door mail delivery of print advertising.
Since 2006, through its subsidiary Netwerk VSP Geadresseerd BV., Netwerk VSP has been providing weekly delivery of addressed mail throughout the Netherlands for business customers.
