Militzer & Münch reports project logistics booming in Russia

Militzer & Münch is on a growth path with its project logistics in Russia. ZAO Militzer & Münch, the Russian country unit headquartered in Moscow, reports that, as compared to the 2010 figures, its project logistics business will account for more than 12% of the total turnover this year – more than twice as much as last year.

The company stated that this development is the result of an enormous boom in the Russian logistics market. The oil and gas sector especially saw a huge rise in Russia in 2011 – a key sector for the company’s project logistics division.

However, project logistics is not only booming in the oil and gas sectors. There are investments to be expected in other economic sectors like the automobile and steel industries, agriculture and wood processing. In addition, preparations for the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi, where ZAO Militzer & Münch is also involved, are already under way.

"We are a diversified company, and will further develop our project logistics segment over the next few years", says Marina Dshegrij, Managing Director ZAO Militzer & Münch: "We’ve already taken on additional experts for our projects department."
