New COO at Lehnkering: Ingo Freyaldenhoven Takes Over Chemical Manufacturing Services Division

Ingo Freyaldenhoven (43) has become Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Chemical Manufacturing Services (CMS) division at Lehnkering with immediate effect and he is also a new Member of the Board of the Lehnkering-Holding.

Freyaldenhoven is responsible for the strategic development of the Chemical Manufacturing Services division, which covers services for the chemical industry ranging from raw material services to manufacturing. The COO role has been temporarily handled by the CEO of the Lehnkering Group, Cees van Gent, until recently. The management at the Lehnkering subsidiaries Schirm GmbH and Schirm Inc., USA, which are also part of the CMS division, remains unchanged.

“With Ingo Freyaldenhoven we have been able to attract an experienced manager to our company,” says van Gent. “With his international expertise in contract manufacturing services, business development as well as his strategic skills he will play a crucial role in making the CMS division an even stronger force on international markets.”

Before joining Lehnkering, the business administration graduate worked as Corporate Sales Director for Colep CCL, a Portuguese group of companies. His professional career has also included management positions at companies with international operations, for example in the personal care, cosmetics and household industries.

The board of executive directors at Lehnkering consists of Cees van Gent, CEO of the Lehnkering Group and COO of the Road Logistics & Services (RLS) division, Robert Baack, COO of the Shipping Logistics & Services (SLS) division, Uwe Willhaus, COO of the Distribution Logistics & Services (DLS) division, Ingo Freyaldenhoven, COO of the Chemical Manufacturing Services (CMS) division and Walter Steinig (CFO).
