New fleet operations manager for ArrowXL

ArrowXL has brought in Aaron Powell from HSS Hire to take on the role of national fleet operations manager, based at the Wigan site.

He will oversee all aspects of ArrowXL’s fleet management including procurement, maintenance, ensuring all vehicles are compliant and managing key suppliers. The company currently operates 230 vehicles and 95 trailers.

Powell most recently held the position of national fleet manager at HSS. He had previously worked at Speedy Asset Services and Toilet Hire, as well as Nightfreight.

Charlie Shiels, COO at ArrowXL, said: “It is vital that we ensure we have the right people on board to support our continuing development. Aaron has proven skills and many years experience in the sector and will be a valuable asset to the team.”
