Kuehne + Nagel: Successful re-certification of the company’s reporting systems according to ISO
In order to officially confirm the correctness of the methodology applied in the CO2 emission calculations of its customers, Kuehne + Nagel has successfully obtained re-certification according to the global ISO standard 14064-3 for its self-developed database tools. This covers the Global Facility Carbon Calculator (GFCC) and Global Transport Carbon Calculator (GTCC). Re-certification from Bureau Veritas applies for both tools at all business units and its own subsidiaries.
In particular for sustainability reports the company must be able to completely rely on the data. Kuehne + Nagel is strictly adhering to a strong environmental policy along the entire supply chain including all modes of transport and interfaces. Transparent and certified standards are integrated in the company’s quality, safety & health, environment and security-guidelines.
