This user-friendly resource demonstrates that the majority of plants are found in the South-East of the country and that there is also a high concentration located in Manaus, the capital of the Amazonas state in the North.

This has been released in association with the Hi-Tech & Electronics Supply Chain Summit that is taking place on October 22-23rd in San Francisco.  There will be a dedicated session on the ‚Brazil Conundrum‘ that will provide key metrics to enable hi-tech companies to compliantly and economically expand into Brazil.

The discussion will be focussing on:

Importing vs. Investing – Debate whether building a manufacturing plant or shouldering the cost of high government hi-tech import taxes and other hidden extras is the best option for your business.
Other entry methods into Brazil –M&As or distributors, or even a combination of the two – which is the best way drive down your costs and make your cross border business more efficient?
How to avoid fragmented distribution channels – establish relationships with multiple logistics providers.
Market opportunities in Brazil – see how the product preferences of your Brazilian hi-tech customers will impact your supply chain.

Complimentary passes are available to senior supply chain executives from hi-tech & electronics companies. If you’re interested in a pass or want more information on this event, please contact the event director Sophie Farrow at sfarrow@eft.com or +44 207 375 7587.
