New president for Unicarriers Europe
Masashi Takamatsu has been appointed president of Unicarriers Europe as of 1 May 2018 and is to focus on strengthening the UniCarriers and TCM brands, to be further developed under the umbrella of UniCarriers’ new owner Mitsubishi Logisnext.
Takamatsu is to help standardise sales in the European focus market into a one-stop shopping model and expand the offering of forklifts for the rental and used vehicle business.

“Service and aftersales play an ever more important role in the purchase decision,” said Takamatsu. “With our one-stop shopping concept, customers get all the services required for the management of their forklift fleets from one source through their local distribution partner.”
Takamatsu’s predecessor Nobuo Yo has returned to Japan as head of the overseas sales division.
