New spec warehousing for Staffordshire

Trebor and Seddon Developments are speculatively developing two new industrial units totalling 144,000 sq ft in Staffordshire after being granted planning permission.

Construction of the 66,000 sq ft and 78,000 sq ft warehouses will begin in the spring and complete before the end of 2017. Known as Prime Point 14, the site is located one mile from Junction 14 of the M6 along the A34 and 1.5 miles north of Stafford town centre. The area is an established industrial hub, with nearby occupiers including Screwfix, Alstom, Culina and Arnold Clark.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor Developments, said: “The size of units proposed meets a gap in the Midlands and Staffordshire market for quality industrial accommodation of this type. It is now full steam ahead to deliver in 2017.”

Ranjit Gill, industrial director at Savills, added: “Prime Point 14 will deliver much needed, high quality new industrial space in an area where occupier demand significantly outweighs supply.”

Joint letting agents are Savills and BNP Paribas.
