New warehouse approved in Erdington Industrial Park, Birmingham

Hermes Investment Managers have secured planning for a new urban warehouse on the site of a major Jaguar Land Rover car park in Birmingham.

Birmingham council approved plans for the 2.7-acre site off Chester Road at Erdington Industrial Park last week.

The 37,932 sq ft warehouse and 4,000 sq ft of office space will have five loading bays and 36 car parking spaces and will be built to BREEAM Very Good.

A total of 30 full-time equivalent jobs will also be created.

The application site is currently used as temporary car parking for Jaguar Land Rover with a total of 840 spaces and and extra 30 for HGVs.
