New warehouse deal brings Clipper Logistics PPE space to 1.5 million sq ft

Clipper Logistics is tipped to be taking the largest immediately available warehouse in the country to service its ever expanding contract with the NHS.

The 3PL is in negotiation to take Goliath the 666,044 sq ft former ToysRUs  distribution warehouse on Crossways Business Park in Coventry for the storage and distribution of PPE.

Clipper has been very acquisitive for the NHS contract having already taken Prologis’ 536,991 sq ft speculatively built warehouse at DIRFT in Northampton on a five-year term for PPE storage. It has also taken a 12-month lease with possible break at six months, on DIRFT 240. The recently refurbished building has 206,293 sq ft of warehouse space as well as 28,643 sq ft of rail side canopy space. It has 27 dock and three level access doors and a 14m eaves height. JLL and Burbage Realty are joint letting agents.

This new letting  will bring the amount of space acquired by Clipper specifically for PPE to just shy of 1.5 million since lockdown began.

Goliath provides 646,477 sq ft of warehouse space plus 59,264 sq ft of mezzanine storage in addition to 19,567 sq ft of office space. It has 16.2m eaves 119 dock and one level access door with parking for 191 cars and 133 HGVs. Sole letting agent is JLL.
