GEFCO Spain

GEFCO Spain has developed a new service for the two-wheelers sector. The service will transport mopeds and motorbikes, with or without packaging depending on customer needs.

The new service will ensure greater flexibility and lower costs for customers, whilst the packaging-free option adheres to GEFCO’s environmental policy.

GEFCO also provides value-added services, including mechanical inspections, repairs, cleaning and fuel tank fill-ups, carried out at the GEFCO centres in Madrid and Barcelona.

The vehicles will be distributed door-to-door from customer production centres located predominantly in the Far East to Europe and South America.

GEFCO Spain has also renewed its contract agreement with food retailer DIA for another three years.

As well handling domestic logistics, transport and distribution services for the retailer, GEFCO will also manage the consolidation of dry goods at the Ontigola logistics platform.

GEFCO will manage inbound flows from the UK and France to Romania, and the service includes order preparation (inspection, labelling and packaging for 600 line items), warehousing and delivery to retailers.

GEFCO has set up a dedicated team to carry out value-added operations, and plans to rollout a new online order management service in the near future.

GEFCO Germany
