GateKeeper granted exclusive worldwide licence; signs exclusive agreement

GateKeeper USA has been granted an exclusive worldwide 99-year licence from an affiliate of Phoenix Partners for the fabrication of Basalt Fiber through a proprietary process in the manufacturing of cargo and shipping containers.

The proprietary process creates Basalt Fiber, which is then converted into a composite as a substance creating a Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) that can generate finished material at a cost that is significantly less than steel.

The use of BFRP in the production of shipping containers will result in a container that is significantly lighter, has better insulating qualities, is 4 times stronger, and has a lifespan 5 times greater than that of conventional steel containers, that can be offered at a lower price. Smart Box Ventures, LLC a newly formed subsidiary, will implement the BFRP container business.

In other news, GateKeeper USA executed an exclusive agreement with Smart Box Ventures (SBV), wherein SBV will purchase exclusively from GateKeeper USA advanced automated container security devices (CAMS).

The CAMS devices will be installed in all of the Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) containers manufactured by SBV, thus creating the first commercially viable SmartBox® in the industry.

The result of this joint venture will be the production of BFRP containers that are lighter, stronger, with better insulating qualities, last five times longer than conventional steel containers, as well as being equipped with the CAMS device.

The CAMS devices will employ proprietary detection and identification technologies, which provide fast, automatic and specific real-time detection, analysis, identification and quantification of the chemical, biological and radioactive and explosive compounds in all forms – whether liquid, solid or gas.

The CAMS devices will also include geo-fencing (internal); over air programming (OAP); tamper notification; and CDMA Assisted – GPS technology.

The CAMS devices, which are not RFID dependent, will be outfitted with proprietary compression algorithm technology enabling the device to transmit its signal in real-time, worldwide, over the strongest available frequency, which will enable the SmartBox to meet and exceed all current global maritime security protocols.
