North Warwickshire Borough Council has given St. Modwen the green light for its plans to build two new industrial units at Centurion Park, Tamworth.
Work on the first 52,500 sq ft unit is due to begin next month, which will be followed by construction of a 153,000 sq ft unit, creating an additional 200,000 sq ft of space at Centurion Park, situated adjacent to junction 10 of the M42.
Jonathan Green, development surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “Gaining planning permission for these two new units means that we can go some way towards addressing the demand for space.
“We are already receiving calls from businesses interested in the space, which will create employment opportunities for light industrial, storage and distribution industries.”
