Now also in Innsbruck: Ontime Logistics expands in Austria

Günter Huber manages from the location in Innsbruck the full overseas segment of Ontime Logistics Speditions GmbH

Ontime Logistics Speditions GmbH has added a fourth location to its network in the domestic market Austria. In Innsbruck a new site was recently opened to support the headquarters in Seekirchen am Wallersee and the stations in Linz and Vienna. From the site in Tyrol Günter Huber (40) manages the overseas segment of the total enterprise. He was able to collect the required expertise in leading positions at other logistics companies.

“The Tyrolean location of Ontime Logistics is designed as a specialist for orders in niches. It is represented in 27 countries via ‘Net Express Europe’. Our orders are mainly from the express, cool and dangerous goods segment“, says Mr. Huber. The branch attends to a continuously growing customer circle, including producers of medical implants, biogas facilities, glass goods and chemical products.

The forwarders Kurt Posch and Roland Schäffner established Ontime Logistics in 2001. Their target was to redefine the meaning of "quality" in the transport and logistics sector. The enterprise headquartered in Seekirchen am Wallersee (Salzburg) and with its locations in Linz, Vienna and Budapest employs around 100 persons. Within the management Roland Schäffner is in charge of the air and sea freight, as well as the international and overseas segment, while Kurt Posch manages the European field with the segments express and special transportations. The customers are mainly from the automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, mechanical engineering as well as from the film and media industry, including the companies Sony DADC, Mango, Plasser & Theurer, FACC and KTM.

Being an exclusive partner of NNR Global Logistics, Tokyo, Ontime is considered as Austria’s Japan-specialist for exact logistics in the field of air and sea freight importations and exportations. NNR stands for “Nishi Nippon Railroad Co Ltd.“ and counts among Japan’s five biggest forwarding companies.
