Mario Geir in charge of Ontime Logistics’ activities in Tyrol, Vorarlberg, South Tyrol and southern Germany

The provider of transport and logistics services Ontime Logistics is to restart in Tyrol. As of now Mario Geir (34) is heading the Innsbruck location and together with his team serves Tyrol, Vorarlberg, South Tyrol and southern Germany in the sectors air/sea freight, express cargo and special logistics. Born in Hall, he had been air freight manager at Gebrüder Weiss for about ten years.

„We don’t force customers into existing concepts“, Mario Geir emphasises a particularity in their service range for time-critical industries such as pharmaceutical, electronics, automotive supply and textile industry. “One important aspect is, that we inform customers pro-actively about the status of their shipments through an innovative shipment tracking system.“ Another competitive advantage according to the former athlete is the huge international network, to which Ontime Logistics is affiliated: “Daily transportations are conducted via Net Express Europe to all countries of Europe.”

In 2001 Kurt Posch and Roland Schäffner established Ontime Logistics Speditions GmbH on behalf of redefining the concept of quality for the transport and logistics industry. Today the enterprise has about 100 employees in total at the headquarters in Salzburg as well as in the branches in Linz, Vienna and Innsbruck. Their customers come mainly from the automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, mechanical and plant engineering industry as well the movie and media industry, including global groups such as Sony DADC, Mango, Plasser&Theurer, FACC or KTM as internationally operating manufacturer of sports motorcycles.

Being the exclusive partner of NNR Global Logistics (Tokyo) Ontime Logistics define themselves as Austrian specialist for Japan, concerning precise logistics in the field of import and export of air and sea freight. NNR (Nishi Nippon Railroad Co Ltd.) counts among the big five forwarders in Japan.
