OOCL expands no-chassis policy to six more locations
In September OOCL will stop providing chassis for import and export shipments to/from another six port and inland locations.
The new no-chassis locations are: Charleston (South Carolina), Charlotte (North Carolina), Knoxville (Tennessee), Birmingham (Alabama), Minneapolis (Minnesota) and Cincinnati (Ohio).
Effective September 1st, motor carriers working as suppliers for either OOCL or its customers will have to provide their own chassis or lease them from leasing companies at their own expense.
