Oswin Stummvoll assumes management of TFG Transfracht Österreich

TFG Transfracht recruits logistics and sea freight expert as Manager of Austrian location

As of 1 January 2010 Oswin Stummvoll (47), is in charge of the activities of TFG Transfracht in Austria, in his function as Regional Manager in Enns. Mr. Stummvoll has started his career at the national railway company ÖBB in Vienna and was then holding managing positions in logistics enterprises and the shipping industry in Austria.

At the newly opened location in Enns TFG Transfracht manages all activities in Austria. With its new timetable valid since 13 December the enterprise has started an own train concept between Germany and Austria. Since the AlbatrosExpress Austria connects the terminals in Ennshafen, Salzburg and Vienna without truck transport directly to the quay facilities in Bremerhaven and Hamburg. A high frequency “hub and shuttle“-production system offers 11 rotations per week with attractive transport times for the time being.

TFG Transfracht Internationale Gesellschaft für kombinierten Güterverkehr mbH & Co, a holding company of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) and Deutsche Bahn AG, is the market leader in seaport hinterland traffic with German seaports. The enterprise forwards containers on behalf of ship owners and forwarders from the German seaports directly to final consignees in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as from first shippers to German seaports.
