Panalpina wins additional large-scale airfreight contract
| Krones selects Panalpina as their partner for spare parts distribution to Asia Panalpina Group (Basel/Switzerland) announces the winning of an additional large-scale order. Krones Group selects the company as their partner for the distribution of spare parts from Europe to the Asian-Pacific region and China. For the globally active company this project generates several thousand airfreight shipments per year and also includes the construction of a distribution warehouse in the Thai capital Bangkok. Krones has its headquarters in Neutraubling (Germany) and is the market leader in the planning, development and the production of machinery and complete facilities for the areas process-, filling- and packing technology as well as intra-logistics. The company produces customised machineries for their customers. This results in a comprehensive range of spare parts in connection with sophisticated supply- and delivery chains.
