Peel Logistics buys up on Merseyside

Newly launched Peel Logistics, the alliance between Peel Group, Peel Ports and Harworth Estates, has bought  the 45 acre former Sonae Industrial site in Knowsley Industrial Park on Merseyside.

It has renamed the site Knowsley 700 because it could support a single 700,000 sq ft warehouse facility.

James Whittaker, development director at Peel said, “The Knowsley 700 site benefits from a great communications network in close proximity, making this an ideal location for many logistics/distribution companies looking for a base in the North West. We will now begin actively marketing the new site under the Peel Logistics umbrella.“

Peel Logistics controlls 6,000 acres of development land across 66 sites.

Lambert Smith Hampton advised Peel Logistics while JLL acted for Sonae Industrial.
