Personnel change of LogServ’s management board

Longstanding MD Christian Janecek remains the head of LogServ and will be supported by the new managing director Markus Schinko

A personnel change has taken place within the management board of Logistik Service GmbH (LogServ). As of now Mag. Christian Janecek and Ing, Markus Schinko are leading the company, which is a 100% subsidiary of voestalpine Stahl GmbH. The previous managing director DI Christian Mokry has taken over a new function within the voestalpine group.

As managing director of LogServ Christian Janecek is in charge of the functions distribution, logistics sales, finances/controlling, communication and IT management. The functions railway transport services, in-plant transport rail/road/port, repair shop, road and rail vehicles, transport services, management system and market development will be managed by Markus Schinko.

Logistik Service GmbH (LogServ) was established in 2001 as a subsidiary of voestalpine Stahl GmbH. As a full service provider with decades of experience in the industrial logistics business, the company acts as a partner of the Austrian domestic big industry, with a focus on the industry for production and processing of metal, the building material and processing industry, machinery and plant engineering as well as the automotive and automotive supply industry. In the 2013/14 financial year Logistik Service GmbH had 900 employees and generated a turnover of EUR 153.7 million.
