P&O Ferrymasters doubles Cabot volumes in two-year deal
P&O Ferrymasters has announced a new two-year contract with US chemicals and performance materials company Cabot Corporation. The contract will double previous volumes handled by the company.
Under the latest agreement, the supply chain solutions specialist has been awarded almost 2,300 full loads per year after adding various new trade lanes to existing flows from eight plants across Europe. The company will use trailers and 45 ft pallet wide containers to move specialty additives used in the plastics, rubber, adhesives, sealants and coatings industries.
Eric Staal, general manager sales & development Benelux, who is responsible for the account, says: "This is a significant win for us – it shows that high quality service and strong customer relationships are key elements for lasting success."
